Management Information Solution at its Boxmaking facility in Eindhoven. Gestel Printing and DiMS! In 1998, Gestel Printing embarked on a search for a new MIS system – one that could suit their print-specific needs and was also Y2K compliant. According to Mr. Reinalda: “At the end of November 2003 the decision was made that, by January 1st, 2004, administratively we should be completely live with DiMS! – and we succeeded. The implementation went almost flawlessly.” With slightly over a month of using the DiMS! software at Gestel Boxmaking, Mr. Reinalda believes they are already experiencing advantages of the system. “Because of the direct connection between both companies, we have an up-to-date view – whenever and wherever – of the stock level, what is in production at that moment and what still has to be produced. Besides that all the information can be processed much quicker.
