Outlook Group Announces New Web-Based Postcard Printing Service
Press release from the issuing company
NEENAH, Wis.--Feb. 26, 2004-- Outlook Group Corp., a respected leader in the printing industry, announced today that it is launching a new, on-line postcard printing service called Direct 2U. Direct 2U utilizes the speed of the Internet to provide a simpler, faster and less expensive alternative for high-quality postcard printing.
"Direct 2U meets a need we saw in the marketplace for customers who want high-quality postcard printing at prices that are significantly less than those of the standard commercial printers they would typically use. Through the efficiencies of the Internet, we can provide the product they want, much faster and at a far lower cost," said Joseph J. Baksha, president of Outlook Group.
Direct 2U is a user-friendly, Web-based service that allows customers to place postcard printing orders 24-hours-a-day through the service's Web site: www.direct-2-u.net. Customers can use an interactive price calculator to obtain pricing for various sizes, quantities and color options. Postcard designs can be uploaded to the site using a variety of digital file formats. Direct 2U guarantees orders will be shipped within five business days after approval of a final proof. Direct 2U's services are available for quantities between 5,000 and 200,000 postcards.
"We believe Direct 2U will be of particular interest to direct marketers in the wake of the recent 'no-call' legislation," said Baksha. "This legislation has forced many marketers to look into alternative methods of reaching their customers. A recent survey by the Cable & Telecommunications Association for Marketing confirmed that a majority of consumers prefer to receive marketing messages by mail, making this the ideal time to introduce our new Direct 2U service."
"Postcards are highly effective for direct-mail marketing, as well as for a multitude of other communications purposes such as in-store information cards, point-of-purchase cards and handouts at trade shows. Direct 2U is ready to meet each of these needs with a combination of quality, service, speed and affordability that is hard to beat," said Baksha.
The Direct 2U site offers additional customer support including helpful design tips and "frequently asked questions" about the service. Outlook Group can also provide direct marketing services such as list processing, mailing and fulfillment for total project management.
