Visual Magnetics at the Shanghai Int'l Ad & Sign Tech & Equipment Exhibition

Press release from the issuing company

Visual Magnetics (@VisualMagnetics), developer of the revolutionary Visual Magnetics Graphic System that matches magnetic-receptive technologies with high-quality print media, today announced that after the overwhelming success of co-presentations at drupa 2012 in May,  its wallcovering offerings will be demonstrated in the HP booth at the 20th annual Shanghai International Advertising & Sign Technology & Equipment Exhibition this week in China.

Visual Magnetics is revolutionizing the wallcoverings market by enabling the creation of stunning, photo-quality graphics that can adapt to any surface and can be updated almost effortlessly. The Visual Magnetics system components include ActiveWall, MagnaMedia Micro-Iron coated print media, and InvisiLockÒ custom engineered sheet magnet, which may be applied to virtually any surface, incorporated into frames and fixtures, or simply applied to wall surfaces. Once InvisiLock is applied, users can easily roll graphics printed on any MagnaMedia to achieve instant, high-quality wallcoverings and displays. Visual Magnetics’ MagnaMedia is so thin that when combined with the properties of the InvisiLock magnet, it is possible to create multi-layer graphics to update images instantly for specific promotions, without the use of frames, fasteners or adhesives. MagnaMedia can be rolled out by in-store personnel and dramatically lowers installation and shipping costs for wallcoverings and retail applications.

The combination of Visual Magnetics MagnaMedia micro-iron print media and HP Latex Printing Technology generated a great deal of positive buzz at drupa 2012, where Visual Magnetics’ business development manager for Europe, Martin van Golen, demonstrated wallcovering applications alongside HP representatives. Following the success at drupa, HP will be demonstrating Visual Magnetics' wallcovering offerings in the HP booth at the Shanghai International Advertising & Sign Technology & Equipment Exhibition, one of the biggest trade exhibitions for the ad and sign industry in China and worldwide.

“We were very pleased with the response our products received in the HP booth at drupa 2012 and are looking forward to working with HP at the Shanghai International Advertising & Sign Technology & Equipment Exhibition to continue to educate the global market on how MagnaMedia, in conjunction with HP technology, can redefine how wallcoverings are created and installed,” said Joe Deetz, CEO of Visual Magnetics.

“Visual Magnetics is an exciting company that is changing the game for wallcoverings and retail applications,” said Roman Barba, HP Market Development. “Visual Magnetics’ products proved extremely popular at drupa 2012, with customers eager to learn more about how they can apply this unique, magnetic-receptive technology to expand their own wallcovering projects.”
