Agfa: Newspaper Printers Worldwide Moving to :Arkitex

Mortsel, Belgium – Drupa – 18 February 2004 – Agfa announced that more than 100 orders for :Arkitex, the new, most complete, fourth-generation workflow solution available for newspapers, have been shipped since it was launched at IFRA 2003. Newspapers from more than 22 countries all over the world have chosen Agfa’s :Arkitex for their prepress workflow needs. “Agfa's :IntelliNet, :Plateroom Manager, Eskonet, :Output Manager (OMAN) and :Page Pair customers are following our easy migration path and taking advantage of the great new features in :Arkitex such as MAXML, planning and Job Control, native file handling, page variations/versioning & active back-up, and more,” said Andy Grant, Agfa’s worldwide director for newspaper workflow systems.
