GPA Announces Styrene for HP Indigo Presses

Press release from the issuing company

GPA is proud to announce a new addition to their collection of Ultra Digital Synthetic Substrates: Double Opaque and Near Dead Opaque Styrene for HP Indigo presses. Styrene is a durable substrate that offers added stability and resilience over papers while serving as a less expensive alternative to other hard working films. This addition gives customers moreoptions for creative, cost effective applications.

GPA offers Styrene in a 10 mil thickness with a matte/matte finish in 12 x 18 sheets. The opacity options are Double Opaque, which allows some show-through depending on the light source, and Near Dead Opaque, which is ideal for two-sided signage due to its high opacity. GPA continues to offer Ultra Film Styrene for offset presses in a variety of opacities and thickness ranging from 10-30 mil.

Styrene will not curl or warp from moisture or humidity, is FDA approved for indirect food contact and can be easily die cut and thermoformed for maximum application versatility. It makes excellent temporary POP signage, shelf wobblers, durable menus, back-lit signs, plant identification stakes, temporary ID cards and formed packaging. Ultra Digital Styrene is HP Indigo and RIT certified for guaranteed flawless performance on HP Indigo presses. Its inkholdout is so exceptional that it has earned RIT’s Triple-Star rating for ink adhesion on the HP Indigo 5000 and 5500.
