drupa Marks a New Era for Bordeaux

Press release from the issuing company

Bordeaux Digital Printink, a creditable ink and solutions manufacturer, with proven in-house research and development, announced today a new era in its worldwide activities. Following a very successful Drupa 2012 show, Bordeaux is expanding its global network with the addition of new resellers and has received many new business and OEM opportunities to develop customer-focused ink solutions for a variety of inkjet applications.

At Drupa, Bordeaux showcased benchmark products including Latex ink, a revolutionary ink based on water, compatible with drop-on-demand Piezo printheads, which enables drying at much lower heat avoiding creases to substrates. Furthermore, Latex ink is water based with no impact on human health or the environment, yet it is lightfast and durable for outdoor signage as well.

The show provided the platform to exhibit Bordeaux's new PLSF UV and UV LED inks with up to 250% elongation. This unique elasticity opens possibilities for new applications in digital printing.

"Bordeaux's continuous pursuit of high quality ink solutions for the digital printing needs, supported by innovative capabilities and an experienced sales and marketing team, position Bordeaux as a prominent ink solution leader" says Moshe Zach, Bordeaux's founder and CEO "This was further magnified in Drupa where many global companies sought Bordeaux for their expertise and R&D capabilities. I am certain that post Drupa, Bordeaux will be exalted to recognition in other markets as we pursue new business opportunities," he concludes.

During the show, Bordeaux drew a lot of attention among every sector of the printing industry including OEM printer manufacturers, multi-billion dollar companies seeking focused solutions for specific challenges , fellow ink manufacturers seeking co-operations, journalists and many other interesting leads that the Drupa platform unfolded for Bordeaux. "I expect the coming months will pose a challenge for Bordeaux to optimize the Latex ink technology and to efficiently customize our technology to the needs of the many visitors at our Drupa stand, who came seeking for specific solutions to local needs in the international markets," says Dror Mualem, VP sales and marketing.”
