Mediaclip, a developer of software solutions to personalize print products, has announced the release of Mediaclip Photo Product Creator Suite version 2.8.
According to Mediaclip CEO Marion Duchesne, ”The open architecture and flexibility of this new version of our software offer even more possibilities. We have incorporated new features that allow printers and retailers to offer high value-added extras. Now users can access external content without leaving the application. The possibilities are limited only by the imagination of our customers, and we’re working with them to push back those boundaries too!”
Dynamic elements allow data to be gathered from outside the application, including QR codes, stock photos, bar codes, charts and graphics. In just a few minutes, users can add dynamically generated objects from other applications and transform a simple photobook into a huge multi- page project to preserve cherished memories more accurately. For example, the user can incorporate an itinerary or links to websites about the locations and tourist sites visited on a trip. The software’s usability has also been improved to help users create a higher-quality product. Other features have been added to give content designers more display flexibility, such as the ability to add complex products containing multiple masks and surfaces, allowing printers and retailers to further expand their online product offering.
To meet the specific needs of every printer or retailer who wants to offer online photo product personalization, the new version of Mediaclip’s software is available in three different options: FullPlay API, which integrates to existing e-commerce platforms, Soft2Print, a flexible SaaS Solution, and the new, fully hosted turn-key solution called USimplyPrint.
