New products and Services launched at Oce OpenHouse 2004
Press release from the issuing company
Poing, Germany, 18 February 2004—Oce is launching a variety of new products, versions and services at the 11th annual Océ OpenHouse 2004 (16-19 February), presented in a seven-market segment exhibition design. On view will be demonstrations of leading-edge document solutions showing actual cases of professional customer situations.
This year's OpenHouse theme, Printing for Professionals, demonstrates Océ's continued commitment to helping people, the professionals, who make our world—with next-generation solutions.
Seven segments shape industry solutions
Organised into seven industry islands, Océ is exhibiting a wide range of segment-specific document solutions comprised of Océ and industry-partner hardware, software, and business services. These segments cover commercial and corporate printing. Commercial printing segments include the Graphic Arts Industry, Marketing Services, Digital Newspaper Network, and Digital Print Providers. Meanwhile, corporate printing segments include Finance, Telcos & Utilities; Public Services & Education; and Industry & Trade.
In addition, visitors can witness demonstrations and receive information at the Océ PRISMA software booth, and also at the Océ Business Services stand—for the outsourcing of complete document management solutions.

New software versions contribute to showing the power of Océ PRISMA. For example, Océ PRISMAsatellite 1.1, an output management system for transaction printing in non-IPDS environments, can be seen in eight demonstrations across three market segments.
Also on view will be the new Océ PRISMAweb software, a production-workflow management solution and e-commerce platform. To automate and integrate business-and-production processes using advanced Internet technology. With the right security protocols. Three price levels. Automated quotations, billing, and accounting.
Océ Document Technologies to guarantee efficient document management
Meanwhile, Océ Document Technologies will be demonstrating document capture and interpretation solutions to suit all needs. On view will be demonstrations showing how the healthcare sector can process service documents, how organisations involved in Industry & Trade can automate incoming invoices, and how mail responses can be processed in the 'Marketing Services' section.
And new marketing tools available for print service providers
Also at Océ OpenHouse 2004, a new seal of quality will be launched for print service providers—Océ Quality Center. This Océ branding concept helps service providers generate new business, while offering assurance to customers that innovative print technology is being used by the print service provider. A second marketing tool is also on offer, a special business development kit, which is packed with information about key market segments plus sales and marketing roadmaps. To help providers market their services as effectively as possible.
The Océ commitment to Printing for Professionals
Behind the scenes, Océ helps the people, the professionals, who make our world. Companies everywhere use Océ technical documentation systems in manufacturing, architecture, engineering and construction. High speed Océ printing systems produce millions of transaction documents each week, such as bank statements and utility bills. And in offices around the world, people use Océ professional document systems to keep the wheels of business and government turning. Océ is also at work in publishing on demand, digital newspaper production and wide format colour for spectacular display graphics. It's all a proposition we call… Printing for Professionals.
