EPMS And Lithotechnics Announce Integration Partnership

Press release from the issuing company

Enterprise Print Management Solutions (EPMS) a market leading developer of print MIS, based in Middleboro MA, and LithoTechnics, Inc , based in Edmonds, WA , a company recognized throughout the printing industry for its innovative technology and product excellence, are pleased to announce an integration partnership which provides a two way integration between EPMS’ Enterprise MIS and Lithotechnics’ Metrix production planning software.

“We need to provide our clients with efficient ways to use their Enterprise management system, and helping them to streamline workflow is one of those ways. We know that manual job planning methods are inefficient and prone to error, especially when high throughput is required. Enterprise can now send job data to Metrix, and Metrix will calculate the job plan based on job specs, press setup and finishing/bindery requirement, then send the information and the imposition diagram back to Enterprise. This is about as close as it gets to Zero Touch job automation. This integration will help companies do quickly and automatically what they would normally spend hours doing. For companies who do a significant amount of gang runs, the benefits from this integration are huge. The EPMS Gang Run Wizard, used in conjunction with Metrix , will automate the gang run imposition process. We are very pleased to have teamed up with Lithotechnics to create this integration,” said Mark Andersen, President and CTO of EPMS.

Rohan Holt, President of Lithotechnics also commented. “We are excited by the new connection between Metrix and Enterprise. Working together, LithoTechnics and EPMS bring our mutual customers new efficiencies and productivity gains by bridging the gap between MIS and automated job planning with Metrix. I know the two-way integration will bring great value to our customers.”
