ArborOakland Group Acquires Tri-Color Photographic

Press release from the issuing company

– ArborOakland Group, one of Michigan’s leading marketing services providers announced today the acquisition of Tri-Color Photographic of Royal Oak, Michigan.

Tri-Color Photographic has been a leader in producing high quality digital imaging for banners, floor displays, window clings, vehicle wraps, point-of-sale and trade show displays. Initially founded 40 years ago as a photo imaging lab serving professional photographers and advertising agencies, Tri-Color has evolved over the past decade to include digital printing technologies and today serves the Health Care, Retail, Manufacturing, Educational and Advertising markets.

By combining the knowledge, services, and expertise of both organizations, ArborOakland Group has further positioned itself as the leader in single source marketing services. With the addition of Tri-Color’s large-format printing to its direct mail, kitting and fulfillment, digital media and traditional printing lines of business, ArborOakland Group is providing complete marketing support for their customer base as well as enabling growth in new markets.

“This is a tremendous opportunity for all of us,” notes Don Kirkland, President of ArborOakland Group. “We are excited about this opportunity for several reasons. Not only does it build upon the capabilities of both companies, it also demonstrates our ability to grow the business in a very challenging economic time. In addition, it reaffirms our commitment to the local community and the region in general as we will retain all team members as well as accelerate hiring to support the needs and expectations of our clients.”

Bob Koehler, President of Tri-Color notes “By combining our wide range of services into ArborOakland Group’s current array of marketing solutions, this provides customers the ability to work with one company for most aspects of a marketing campaign, trade show or point-of-sale initiative. I am ecstatic about the opportunity this presents.”

Paul Cartwright, Vice President of Sales & Marketing at ArborOakland Group, continues “We are very excited about the opportunities this combination creates. This was a strategic move in our efforts to be a single resource for marketing services to corporations, educational, health care institutions and advertising agencies. In bringing together the capabilities of Tri-Color with ArborOakland we have made it easier for our customers to do business.”
