Mutoh Teaches at SGIA Color Management Boot Camp

Press release from the issuing company

Mutoh America Inc., a leading manufacturer of wide-format printers, participated in process control training at SGIA's Color Management Boot Camp. SGIA brought eager business owners and production personnel together for the two-day workshop at their headquarters in Fairfax, Virginia on November 8th and 9th.

During the Workshop, attendees learned about color theory and principles, color management and process control. They also became familiar with software and new products geared towards color.

Mutoh participated in the "Enhance Your Image, Reduce Your Costs" seminar, which focuses on Mutoh's exclusive ColorVerify process control systems. Using the Mutoh ValueJet 1624-64" Eco-solvent printer and patented SpectroVue VM-10 spectrophotometer, students learned the value of process control and how easy it is to implement into their workflow.

ColorVerify is an on-board system that is free to ValueJet 1324, 1624, 1638 and 1608HS printer users. When used in conjunction with Mutoh's SpectroVue VM-10 spectrophotometer it provides a quick check to see if color output matches the stored setting. The system is simple-to-use and minimizes wasted time, media and ink.

"The Workshop was an exciting and informative experience for us," shares Gary Rudnick, Director of Sales for Mutoh America Inc. "It's always a pleasure to speak to the print community about our innovative products and services, especially when it comes to something so important like process control. The workshop also gave us a chance to learn what print service providers look for in a product, allowing us to continually grow and shape our company with the customer's needs in mind."
