X-Rite and Viki Solutions Announce Partnership

Press release from the issuing company

X-Rite, Incorporated (NASDAQ: XRIT), the world leader in color management, measurement and communication technologies, and Viki Solutions, developer of online proofing, approval workflow and custom enterprise solutions, today announced that Viki has chosen X-Rite as a premier partner to add value to their software proofing systems. As part of this agreement, Viki now offers bundled solutions that combine X-Rite's latest i1 color management solutions and light booths with their Vproof API and Vproof Workflow products.

Through this agreement, print and marketing service providers, as well as digital asset, business process and brand management system providers can implement end-to-end calibrated soft proofing workflows with absolute confidence that what they see on their screens is what they get on their final output.

"Managing and visualizing the correct color is a mission critical element of the soft proofing process. By choosing our color management solutions and light booths to add value to their solutions, Viki has made the best possible choice for their customers," commented Thomas Kunz, X-Rite Market Manager, Imaging.

"The combination of Vproof online proofing with X-Rite's calibration, profiling and color evaluation systems provides our customers with the perfect balance of flexibility, accuracy, speed, options and controls to fit their individual proofing and workflow needs," added Luke Niedjalski, Viki's Director of Solutions. "We have been very impressed with the quality of the i1Display Pro and the ease of use and flexibility of the i1Profiler and i1Publish software."

When purchasing a license for Vproof API, an online proofing component for integration with third-party systems, and Vproof Workflow, a highly customizable approval task workflow product, Viki's customers can integrate X-Rite's i1Display Pro for monitor and projector calibration, i1Publish Pro for managing color of cameras, monitors, projectors and printers, as well as the SpectraLight III and Judge II light booths.
