PrintSoft, an expert in Document Output Management (DOM), has been part of Objectif Lune since July 1. Both companies are currently joining forces to develop new products, which will be presented for the first time at Drupa 2012.

As a specialist in customised DOM solutions, PrintSoft’s portfolio ideally complements the solutions of Objectif Lune. The companies are pursuing different models especially in the areas of sales and target groups as well as products. In all these sectors it becomes clear that PrintSoft and Objectif Lune complement each other more than they would compete in certain market segments. This is because Objectif Lune almost exclusively serves small- and medium-sized companies with the help of partners and resellers, while PrintSoft markets its highly specialised correspondence solutions mainly directly to end users in the key account area. Hence, all sales areas are now covered due to the merger.

First jointly developed software solution to be unveiled in May 2012

For 2012, Objectif Lune and PrintSoft have announced new products – the first time the two companies have cooperated in the area of development. The new software solution will be presented exclusively to selected customers and partners at Drupa in Düsseldorf in May 2012.

The merger also led to an enlargement in PrintSoft’s portfolio: For one thing, the company now offers more comprehensive solutions in the automation of document-focused processes and adapts them to the requirements of specific production processes. For another, “paper & pen-controlled software capture”, as it is known, is helping to speed up business processes. The advantage: Forms no longer need to be scanned in which leads to subsequent processes based on this data being automated. In addition, PrintSoft has improved its PReS Suite and recently presented a large range of changes.

Objectif Lune began its expansion strategy with the acquisition of companies such as Atlas Software B.V. and Prout Software. PrintSoft marks its sixth acquisition within the last eight years. The PrintSoft solutions facilitate the automation of business processes for B2B markets, including supply chain management, financial services, healthcare and suppliers. It helps Objectif Lune expand its offering of hybrid mail (electronic letter) and document management systems yet further.
