Brice joins executive team at INX International

Press release from the issuing company

INX International Ink Co. today announced that Michael Brice has joined the company as Director of Business Development. Brice has 26 years of experience in the printing ink industry, most recently working at Squid Ink, a company that specializes in the manufacture of high quality industrial ink for the packaging industry.

Mr. Brice has spent the majority of his career at Superior Printing Ink in New York. Paying his dues by learning the business from the ground up, he rose through the ranks to become President and Chief Operating Officer of the family owned company in 2002. He gained invaluable experience in the lab, production and sales departments and was instrumental in overseeing three phases of a massive automation and expansion project for the company’s central manufacturing facility in Hamden, Connecticut.

“We’re looking to further develop and grow our customer base and believe we can capitalize on Mike’s executive management skills and experience,” said Rick Clendenning, INX International President and CEO. “Mike will be involved in a number of areas but initially his main focus will be in our offset division. He’s well known and respected in our industry, and I know he will make an immediate impact for us.”

Brice’s efforts at Superior Printing Ink did not go unnoticed by the industry. He was honored with the Florence and Leo Joachim Award from the New York Club of Printing House Craftsman in 2003. In 2000, Brice was chosen as President of the New York Printing Ink Manufacturers Association, and a year later was instrumental in its merger with the New York Printing Ink Production Club. He then served as President of the newly formed Metro New York Printing Ink Association and is a past President of the Graphic Arts Professionals. Brice also was involved with charitable organizations, including Camp Vacamas for underprivileged children.

“I’ve had a good relationship with Rick and the people at INX for a number of years when I worked at Superior,” Brice said. “INX International is a good company with a solid reputation and well positioned in the marketplace. They have many innovative products and provide a level of service that is unparalleled in the industry. I’m honored to be working for INX and with their management team and looking forward to this opportunity.”

Brice resides in New Jersey and will maintain an office on the east coast as well as work from the corporate office in Schaumburg. He can be reached via email: [email protected] or by telephone at (201) 560-3901.
