Color Graphics announces awards won at 2011 Gold Ink Awards

Press release from the issuing company

Las Vegas Color Graphics (LVCG) won twice at the 2011 Gold Ink Awards, the creative industry’s most prestigious print competition. The competition is open to all creators and producers of printed materials, including advertising agencies, book and magazine publishers, paper companies, printers and more.

The competition includes almost 50 categories ranging from book covers and event programs to packaging and media kits.

LVCG won Silver for the Harrah’s Reno NYE 2011 invitation and Pewter for the MGM Grand Epic Poker invite. Both pieces were entries in the Direct Mail category.

“We’re fortunate to have customers who have the creative design capability that allows Las Vegas Color Graphics to bring their amazing work to life,” says John Scheffler, CEO of LVCG. “I am looking forward to winning many more awards in the years to come. We have the skilled craftsmen and equipment to compete with anyone.”

Scheffler has been with the company for only six months; before joining LVCG he spent ten years as Plant Manager, VP of Operations, and President of Maximum Graphics in Minnesota.

Both of these award-winning invitations are examples of the high-quality, detailed work LVCG provides for every client, on every job. Las Vegas Color Graphics has been in business for over 30 years serving the commercial printing needs of the gaming, hospitality and direct mail industries and has built a reputation for quality products and on-time service.
