X-Rite Announces Eizo Monitor Support for its i1Display Pro

Press release from the issuing company

X-Rite, Incorporated (NASDAQ: XRIT), the world leader in color management, measurement and communication technologies, announces today that Eizo Nanao Technologies Inc. (EIZO) offers ColorEdge calibration monitor support via its proprietary ColorNavigator software for X-Rite’s innovative i1Display Pro colorimeter product.  Under a special license agreement, Eizo now offers unparalleled color measurement technology to a broad range of users including photography, pre-press, graphic design, post production, and broadcasting professionals.

“Color accuracy is the foundation upon which all serious professionals rely,” said Tom Gadbois,
Eizo Nanao’s Color Graphics Specialist. “To that end, Eizo is delighted to now provide access for our customers to X-Rite’s i1Display Pro color management technology in combination with our ColorNavigator software.”

“The i1Display Pro has set new color calibration standards for photographers as well as graphics professionals and anyone passionate about color accuracy,” said Thomas Kunz, X-Rite’s Market Manager, Imaging. “X-Rite is honored that a major manufacturer like Eizo, and others yet to be announced, have chosen to license X-Rite’s display measurement technology because they respect the integrity of the i1Display Pro hardware to calibrate consistently, accurately and repeatedly.”

This licensing program also allows Eizo to better serve their customers’ needs by offering a software-only solution which provides an ideal solution for current owners of the X-Rite i1Display Pro. The EIZO-developed ColorNavigator software makes calibration simple and produces predictable color results. ColorNavigator works with a wide range of measurement devices to directly utilize the Look-Up Table of ColorEdge monitors for accurate and reliable calibration in minutes.
