Lightning Source Names Former IBM Exec to Develop Global Business

LAVERGNE, Tenn. – Pamela G. Losey, a 26-year veteran executive of the printing and digital media industry, has been named Global Business Development Executive of Lightning Source Inc., the leading provider of digital content management solutions to the book industry.
Ms. Losey most recently served as a Business Development Executive for IBM’s Digital Media Industry group. As an IBM executive, she had a focus on publishing clients with an emphasis on the emerging areas of DRM, e-Books, and the integration of traditional editorial processes and e-commerce.

In her new position, Ms. Losey will oversee alliance and partnership development, new and emerging markets development, designing a global sales model, and international expansion for Lightning Source in additional geographies.
Ms. Losey is a graduate of Dartington College of Arts in England, and the International School den Haag in the Netherlands.
