Denmaur launch two new swatches to support Amadeus Recycled

Press release from the issuing company

Highlighting the growth of the Amadeus recycled ranges, Denmaur Independent Papers has produced two new swatches, one for recycled offset, and the other for recycled coated.

Amadeus recycled Coated offers an unparalleled choice with four recycled contents, 25%, 50%, 75% and 100%, in three finishes, gloss, silk and matt, all triple coated, all giving you a top quality surface which reproduces multi-coloured images with ease. As you would expect, the balance of all virgin fibres used are FSC certified.

With a grammage range spanning 90 through to 350gsm, and a large sheet stock offer with over 100 items, every box is ticked to ensure that you have the right weights and sizes in order to reduce your waste even further.

This is only half of Denmaur Independent Papers’ commitment to bringing you high quality environmentally sound papers. The uncoated offering is possibly unparalleled in meeting the very best environmental credentials.

The second swatch contains Amadeus recycled Offset, which is available in two options, 50% recycled and the renowned 100%.

Denmaur voluntarily submitted Amadeus 100% recycled Offset to WWF's "Check Your Paper" database, where it was evaluated on key environmental impacts such as:

  • forest impacts through wood harvesting
  • greenhouse gas emissions
  • water pollutants
  • wastes

Amadeus 100% recycled Offset scored 97 out of 100, receiving an "excellent" rating, and is currently the highest scoring paper among those submitted for review.

Supporting the 100% Offset, is its cousin, Amadeus 50% recycled Offset, again with a wide range of sizes and grammages and a good whiteness and bulk to match.

Denmaur Group Marketing Director Peter Sommerville commented, “We are pleased to be able to offer the expanded Amadeus recycled range of papers. The quality and the depth of the paper options make it easier for paper specifiers to make a positive choice to use recycled stocks and still generate the very best results. In addition, we are now offering a carbon balance service to complete the picture.”

The swatches offer a wealth of useful technical and environmental information about Amadeus recycled, together with 4 colour printed samples, mono samples and sheets of all grammages available.
