Falco Design, a full-service graphic design and web site design agency headquartered in East Brunswick, New Jersey, created two direct mail campaigns for their client, ALL-STATE LEGAL (ASL). The chocolate mailers were sent to hundreds of ASL’s best law firm prospects in May and July of this year. Falco Design created and managed both projects, from concept to fulfillment.
Both campaigns were themed around the upcoming “summer” season. The packages included custom-designed chocolate flip-flops with a personalized note card from ASL’s local sales rep stating they wanted to ”get their foot in the door.“ The boxes also contained freezer packs and ‘grass’ to protect the chocolate. Within one month, the client had achieved a 27.6% response rate for the May mailing and a 22.4% response rate on the July mailing. Both campaigns are expected to generate revenue over 25 times the cost of the entire campaign.
A second theme, targeted at a different set of ASL’s best prospective customers is planned for October. This package includes a chocolate football, with a personalized note card stating, “create a winning game plan in 2012 by considering ASL.”
