Leading Leicestershire printer Taylor Bloxham has achieved the prestigious British Printing Industries Federation (BPIF) Human Resources Seal of Excellence certification.

It scored 86% on its audit requirements and becomes one of only a few companies in the UK to have achieved the certification. The endorsement enables companies to show their customers, visitors and staff that they are exceeding expectations in Human Resources.

The BPIF Seal of Excellence certification is the next stage on from the industry-recognised BPIF health checks.

To gain the Human Resources (HR) certification the company’s HR practices were checked by an auditor who is independent of the BPIF to see how it had been improving its performance.

Marketing director Kevin Moss said: “As a company we already set ourselves high standards but by meeting the targets set by the BPIF it demonstrates that we can meet a national standard too. The certification also shows that we completely value our staff and are more than prepared to invest in their future careers. We feel as a company that a loyal and happy workforce enables us to continue to strive to be one of the UK’s leading printers.” 

Taylor Bloxham has already worked on other certifications within the BPIF’s Seal of Excellence. It recently scored 93% on its Health and Safety Seal of Excellence.

Kevin Moss continued, “This additional Human Resources certification reflects our continued hard work in demonstrating that we are a company that takes our company practices extremely seriously. We hope to continue to add to the amount of BPIF certifications we achieve in the future.”

The audit will be carried out once every two years to demonstrate the company is meeting the necessary requirements.
