Unisource Worldwide, Inc., one of the largest privately held companies in the United States, has partnered with Kimberly-Clark Professional® to co-host a breakfast event at this year’s Greenbuild 2011 International Conference and Expo - the U.S. Green Building Council’s annual Greenbuild convention. This year’s convention will be held in Toronto on October 5-7, 2011 and will be the first time the U.S. Green Building Council is hosting Greenbuild outside the United States.
“We are looking forward to participating in this year’s Greenbuild 2011 convention as Unisource continues to invest in our sustainability program and our mission to be an industry-leading green business. There is a lot to look forward to at this year’s conference and we are proud to co-host an event with Kimberly-Clark Professional® in conjunction with Unisource Canada,” said Dan Donatelli, director of sustainability at Unisource.
During the conference, Unisource Canada will co-host a breakfast event with Kimberly-Clark Professional® to introduce The Healthy Workplace Project. This is a comprehensive program aimed at reducing workplace illnesses, including the productivity and business losses that occur when workers are sidelined by colds, flu and other contagious ailments.
The breakfast event - facilitated by Andrew Gustyn, corporate sustainability manager at Unisource Canada - is scheduled for Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at 7:30 a.m. Attendees will be offered free access to the Greenbuild Expo on Wednesday and Thursday, a chance to win an APPLE® iPad™ Tablet and the opportunity to register for a Healthy Workplace Audit, conducted by Kimberly-Clark Professional®.
