RP Graphics Expects to Double its Digital, Color Revenue with New iGen3

Press release from the issuing company

TORONTO, Oct. 9 - RP Graphics has acquired a DocuColor iGen3 Digital Production Press to drive its digital colour business in shorter runs, quicker turnarounds and unique 1:1 applications. "For more than 25 years, we have embraced the latest technology to maintain our leadership position in the market and being one of the first to have iGen3 in Canada is proof that we remain on the cutting edge in our industry," said George Mazzaferro, president, RP Graphics. "I expect this investment to double our digital, colour print revenue by enabling us to produce virtually any print job economically, regardless of quantity." With the RP Graphics acquisition, Xerox is making its second delivery in Canada of its most significant production technology platform in a decade. The iGen3 is the result of more than $1B (US) in research and development, and its invention generated more than 400 patents. RP Graphics will use the DocuColor iGen3 to expand its business by increasing production of high quality, short-run and full-colour applications such as sales collaterals, direct mail pieces and other marketing communications materials. To help RP Graphics fully leverage the press' capabilities, Xerox has created new service and support programs. SmartPress Production Consultants serve as part of a team of Xerox colour production specialists available to work with product owners to help build revenue-generating volume and maximize business potential. They are being provided at no cost for the first two months of early DocuColor iGen3 installs.
