Taopix Continues Expansion in Latin America

Press release from the issuing company

Leading photo book software manufacturer, Taopix, has extended its territories in Latin America with the appointment of InfoGrafix as distributor for Taopix Photobook in Columbia, Panamá, El Salvador, Ecuador, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Honduras, Perú, Bolivia, Venezuela and Chile.

InfoGrafix is a digital solutions provider to the print industry and is based in Bogotá, Columbia. The company is already an established reseller for some of the industry's leading names, including HP, Canon, Eskographics, Océ and Durst.

The appointment of InfoGrafix was overseen by Gadi Kovarsky, VP Sales for Taopix across the Americas.

Says Kovarsky: "InfoGrafix is a great signing for Taopix. Their knowledge of the industry, consummate professionalism and range of high quality digital press offerings is an unbeatable combination. Taopix is a perfect fit for their portfolio and I am confident that they will succeed."

"We have already experienced a steady growth in sales in other parts of Latin America and, I believe, we have a huge opportunity in these emerging markets to establish Taopix as the de facto standard for photo gift creation and production."

Says Alexander Rojas, VP Executive for InfoGrafix: "We are very excited at the prospect of introducing Taopix to our new and existing customers. We believe Taopix is in a class of its own and delivers on many fronts; it's stable, easy to use, flexible and most of all, it enables our customers to be in control of their own business by being able to create bespoke products and brands themselves."

"I also like the idea of our customers being able to have different 'go to market' strategies that will allow them to target different markets and tailor their products accordingly. We see a lot of value in customers being able to sell photo merchandise direct to the consumer as well as indirectly via partners who have ready-made customer bases to sell to."
