BALTIMORE – Vertis Communications, a results-driven marketing communications company that delivers inventive advertising, direct marketing and interactive solutions to prominent brands across North America, today announced it is providing expanded creative and production services to its marketing clients with the addition of a state-of-the-art HP Scitex FB700 Printer. The new technology, which produces large format displays that make the most creative marketing concepts a reality, marks the latest development in an expanding relationship with HP that enables Vertis to provide broader and richer capabilities to its clients.
The new HP printer boasts innovative advancements that Vertis, an industry leader in large format media design and production, will leverage to help clients maximize the visual appeal of their promotional marketing pieces, such as POP / POS displays, in-store signage, fleet graphics and exhibits. The technology will enable Vertis to print vivid images, brilliant colors and white ink on an expanded line of large format substrates including glass and corrugated plastic for retail window displays, two-sided or backlit prints and outdoor signage. A sophisticated automated service station provides flawless production of long run lines with minimal maintenance interruptions, resulting in maximum uptime and increased speed-to-market.
"Our investment in this advanced technology allows Vertis to redefine what can be accomplished in large format promotional marketing, and we are very pleased to provide such an innovative solution to our valued customers across North America," said Terry Monday, Vice President of Integrated Solutions Sales, Vertis Communications. "This technology eliminates many of the constraints associated with large format media production while ensuring consistent results that save clients time and money."
Earlier this year, Vertis installed two HP Scitex large format digital printing systems: an HP Scitex FB7500 Printer with the capacity to handle industrial-scale projects in a fraction of the time and with reduced costs, and an HP Scitex LX800 Printer with HP Latex Inks for direct printing on vinyl, wallpaper and polyester fabrics.
"HP, along with partners like Vertis, is committed to meeting the demands of the most sophisticated product marketers with the highest quality printing options that make large format promotions really come to life," said Don Knox, U.S. Director of Sales, Large Format Printing, Graphics Solutions Business, HP. "This latest installation is another example of our growing relationship with Vertis and positions the company to deliver an even wider variety of high-value rigid and flexible applications for the premier brands they serve."
Vertis' Large Format team specializes in POP/POS display graphics for the retail industry, including 3-dimensional structural graphics, roller shades, standees, banners, posters, pop-ups, signs and fleet graphics, and offers clients full service support from initial program concept to display installation.
