Metro Print and Mail Solutions Becomes a Union Printer

Press release from the issuing company

SACRAMENTO, Calif.-- Metro Print and Mail Solutions is proud to announce that our printing, pre-press, and bindery divisions have joined the Allied Printing Union of Northern California.

“In an ongoing effort to always meet our clients’ needs and to achieve their goals, we welcome the union into our print, pre-press and bindery division,” said Gary Meredith, President of Metro Print and Mail Solutions. “Metro and its employees look forward to working together to achieve the objectives and expectations of our clients.”

A union bug is a mark whose use is reserved for print shops that meet union employment requirements, with each bug carrying an identifying number to track its origin. “It’s like a fingerprint for each union print shop,” said Mr. Meredith.

It’s your assurance of quality and craftsmanship. The bug also guarantees that the men and women who work on your printed materials receive decent wages and benefits in plants which practice responsible labor-management relations (www.alliedlabel.org).
