Customers Appreciate Greater Print Volume of Océ VarioPrint 6000 Ultra TP Line

Press release from the issuing company

Venlo, The Netherlands, - Océ, an international leader in digital document management, will introduce the Océ VarioPrint 6000 Ultra TP Line for printing both standard documents and transactional applications on one hybrid cutsheet platform at the Océ Production Printing Summit at its German technology center in Poing from 7-10 June 2011.
Hybrid systems address customer demands to process more print volume on less equipment

Utilizing a hybrid approach, Océ can capture a variety of applications and workflows that were never before possible. "This hybrid approach offers data centers and service providers a significant advantage in not having to purchase, run and maintain separate devices for transactional print and other applications like booklets and manuals, " says Jan Verschaeren, Executive Vice President, Document Printing. "These are traditionally printed within implants or are being outsourced."
Unique Océ Gemini Technology for professional transactional print environments

The hybrid approach is supported by the familiar Océ Gemini instant duplex engine technology, which reliably supports print volumes up to 10 million impressions per month. In combination with the Océ PRISMA for Transaction solutions and the Océ PRISMAsync controller, users can operate the system in round-the-clock shifts.

The new TP Line systems meet demands for security, accuracy and image quality. Features such as micro-font printing ensure no information is lost and no pages are double printed. Near-perfect registration safeguards precise printing on pre-printed media and Paper Logic technology ensures media is loaded to match the desired output, minimizing errors and reprints.
Built-in investment protection by field upgrades

Investment protection is built into every Océ VarioPrint 6000 TP model. Systems are upgradeable in speed, processing power and additional capabilities, providing a growth path to higher performance ? without purchasing another system or training operators on different equipment. With the temporary speed license option, users can accelerate short-term productivity and profit without long-term financial commitment.

The Océ VarioPrint 6000 Line combines all the attributes needed for a total transactional, convergence print solution:

Near off-set quality
Scalable performance at 171, 200, 250 and 314 duplex prints per minute
Native IPDS, PCL5e- support
Full integration with competitive output management systems
Industry leading image quality and reliabilty
