37th Annual Graphics of the Americas Show Announces Call for Speakers

Orlando, FL - The 37th Graphics of the Americas (GOA) trade show and conference, produced annually by the Printing Association of Florida (PAF), today announces the call for speakers for its 2012 show. Speakers wishing to join the esteemed group of conference alumni should submit session content ideas for next year's show by July 29, 2011.

GOA 2012 is being held in Miami Beach, Florida, on March 1-3, 2012 at the Miami Beach Convention Center. Popular FESPA Americas and cre8 will again join the show.  

The successful GOA 2011 Super-Event featured the inaugural, co-located FESPA Americas event, as well as ISS Orlando and cre8 conference.GOA reported that 9,800 people from 90 countries attended the 2011 show, with a majority of attendees coming from the U.S. and Latin America. This is a 16% increase year over year in attendees.

Of those who attended, 2,030 people attended the renowned world-class educational sessions, offered in both English and Spanish.

George Ryan, GOA President, says, "We are excited to once again tap industry professionals to join our distinguished speaker roster for GOA 2012. Attendees and exhibitors continue to line up in droves to secure a spot in our educational sessions, attesting to the high level of talent we bring to GOA each year. We've received much interest from speakers already for the 2012 show in Miami Beach!"

Call for speakers
GOA is accepting speaker proposals from industry professionals and executives - both veteran and newer speakers alike - for fresh and cutting edge content to build its 2012 show track. Candidates must possess comprehensive management, analysis, or technical experience; as well as intriguing insight and industry-relevant material to share with peers.

Session proposals may be inspirational, practical, or both; and should derive from the speaker's first-hand knowledge and experience. All proposals are subject to review and are selected based on relevance. Presentations of a commercial nature, or promoting a particular product or platform, will not be considered.

Every facet of the industry is represented in the GOA conference track, which serves designers, brand owners, print buyers, prepress specialists, printers, marketers and business strategists.  Content provides insight, new strategies, tips, techniques, and practices that speak to emerging markets, cultivation of new prospects, customer retention, and other current, sought after topics.

Submission details   
GOA invites all suggestions for seminar topics and speakers submissions, for presentations in both English and Spanish. Those interested should email submissions containing the following required information, by July 29, 2011:
 
Suggested session title

  • 50-word description
  • List of targeted attendees
  • 3-5 sentences about what attendees will learn
  • Short speaker biography
