The Department of Graphic Communications at Clemson University is the host for this webinar, starting May 31st. This might seem strange for a graphics department to offer a class/webinar on mailing, but over 50% of everything printed today goes through the mail, so it is a natural fit. The class is designed to work with students studying in the design/print industry and people working in marketing, design, print and mailing services. This webinar will use concepts and technologies from the mailing, printing, management, and marketing disciplines-so production, management, sales and marketing people can each benefit from the course/webinar. There will be 8 to 10 guest speakers from the industry on related topics. The details:
The 12-week class (10-week webinar series) will meet once a week on campus for Clemson students and via synchronous web feed for non-Clemson students and industry participants (this means all groups will meet at the same time with real-time lecture and discussion). Additionally, all lectures will be recorded for industry partners to view as appropriate in their companies. All sessions will be available for viewing until September 15, 2011.

Companies can sign up with one registration per location (individuals in a company desiring college credit must sign up individually through Clemson summer school).
