At Expográfica 2011, the largest Spanish-speaking Graphic Arts Trade Show worldwide, the company will present the "OneVision PreMedia Factory". The PreMedia Factory is a modular concept based on a standard technology platform and can be set-up according to customers' individual needs. Customers have the choice among a broad range of different modules, e.g. solutions for automated file control, correction and normalization, ink saving, image enhancement, preflighting of online ads, in-house creation of ePapers or file logistics. All modules work perfectly together, but can also be implemented independently from one another. 3rd party solutions can be integrated based on standard XML technology.

At Expográfica, OneVision will present the new version of the PreMedia Factory module Amendo, the solution for image enhancement: this tool analyzes each image independently and automatically makes all necessary corrections and optimizations within seconds. With its intuitive and easy to use interface, Amendo provides printers and publishers with professional-quality image enhancement and color correction that can significantly reduce the time and effort needed to process images.

The new version - launched worldwide in March 2011 - comes with an improved user interface, offers new options for the handling of file extensions, and supports additional file formats such as PNG or RAW. With this new version, OneVision has also introduced Amendo Perfect Skin. This unique feature works on a sophisticated methodology: a brand-new face detection technique is used which reliably recognizes faces, analyzes their skin tones and executes any required corrections in order to achieve the "Perfect Skin" – all while preserving the characteristics of the different complexions. As a result, the skin tones look very natural and realistic, and the quality of the overall picture is greatly enhanced.
