BALTIMORE, MD. – Vertis, the premier provider of targeted advertising, media, and marketing services, today announced the appointment of Michael S. Rawlings to its board of directors.
Prior to his election to the Vertis board, Rawlings served as president and chief concept officer of Pizza Hut, Inc. from 1997 to 2003. During his 19 years with DDB Dallas, Rawlings worked with some of the world’s leading brands, including Frito-Lay, Pepsi-Cola, GTE, American Airlines and Dillard’s.
Rawlings lives in Dallas with his wife and two children, and is active with the Young President’s Organization and the Dallas Citizens Council. Rawlings also sits on the board of Ace Cash Express, the largest check cashing operation in the U.S.
