Press release from the issuing company

January 15, 2004 – (Paramus, NJ) Colter & Peterson, a leading supplier and servicer of paper cutters in the United States announced that it has formed a new division: Colter & Peterson Canada to service the Canadian market. Dan Barber, a former long time employee of Dexter-Lawson Manufacturing (purchased by Colter & Peterson in August 2003) will be managing director of the new company based in Cambridge, Ontario. C&P Canada will be ideally situated to handle Colter & Peterson’s growing Canadian market. Bruce Peterson; President of Colter & Peterson, commented, “We have always had a strong group of Canadian customers and while NAFTA helped smooth things out, some issues remained when we were working across the border. With a Canadian company and Canadian employees, these problems will be minimized and we will be able to provide better support for our customers in Canada.” Colter & Peterson Canada will offer the same range of equipment that the parent company offers including paper cutters from 30” to 165” in size as well as paper handling equipment, three knife trimmers and perfect binders.
