Press release from the issuing company

New York – A team representing the New York office of Mimeo.com will participate in Hands on New York Day on April 16th, an event where 378 teams will clean and revitalize 75 sites throughout the five boroughs.

"We encourage our employees to engage in the community through causes and issues that are important to them," said Adam Slutsky, CEO Mimeo.com. "The team that is participating in Hands on New York Day are role models for our company, which encourages others to participate in future efforts."

Along with other organizations, Mimeo.com employees will be painting benches, light poles and fences in Brower Park, located in Crown Heights, Brooklyn.

"At Mimeo.com we are encouraged to take on projects that are consistent with our goals of supporting environmental sustainability and community participation," said Shannon Moran, Mimeo.com Hands on New York Team Leader. "Helping to revitalize a local park is the perfect opportunity to work alongside other volunteers as we contribute to a better New York."

Hands on New York day is organized by New York Cares, the city's largest volunteer organization. It is where companies of all sizes turn to help meet the pressing needs of their community.
