Create simplified address lists free with AccuZIP6 5.0

Press release from the issuing company

The U.S. Postal Service has eliminated a major restriction for "simplified addressing" for direct mail. Marketers can now send letters, flyers and parcels to every home, business and post-office box on a city delivery route, previously only available to government agencies, and on rural or highway routes.  This is known as saturation mail at the post office and does not require using names or exact addresses on the mail piece.

With the introduction of the new postal rule, licensed users of the AccuZIP6 5.0 product can eliminate the cost associated with buying pricey mailing lists, along with the time-consuming task of addressing every envelope. Prior to this rule change, marketers needed an address, even if the recipient was "Postal Customer", "PO Box Holder", "Current Occupant" or "Resident."

AccuZIP6 5.0 users can use this free integrated feature by entering one ZIP code or a range of ZIP codes through a simple interface, then click Build to generate the simplified address data.  The software will generate two databases, one database will contain the ZIP code, Carrier Route and total residential and total possible stops, and another that contains the actual simplified address list.  AccuZIP6 5.0’s GOLD PAVE Certified presort engine can then prepare the list for a mailing and print all of the required documentation, including Detached Address labels.
