PBI Print & Media Midwest announces speaker line-up

Press release from the issuing company

Chestnut Hill, Mass. – The leading names in printing, print forecasting, print buying, and color management will take the stage at the first-ever Print Buyers International (PBI) Print & Media Conference Midwest in Chicago. Hosted by PBI founder Margie Dana at the Crowne Plaza Chicago O'Hare, the one-day Conference will feature more than a half dozen industry experts including RIT Professor Emeritus Frank Romano; economist and consultant Dr. Joe Webb; G7 inventor Don Hutcheson; elite print buyers Melissa Clemente and Jeff Dickerson; cross-channel marketing pro Heather Gims; and e-newsletter editor, blogger, speaker and print buying professional Dana.

The one-day program will kick off on Thursday, May 19th, 2011, with a breakfast and keynote address by Romano on Everything Print Customers Need to Know About New Printing Technology. Five critical-trend sessions will follow with updates on G7 and new printing technologies; the outlook for print and media; what print buyers need to know to stay at the top of their games; and how to succeed with cross-channel marketing. Stimulate your creative juices at a brainstorming session and resource swap led by Dana.

The Print & Media Conference Midwest is designed for people who work "at the intersection of print and digital media communications," including print buyers, graphic designers and marketing specialists. Modeled on Dana's five successful Annual Print & Media Conferences in Greater Boston, the PBI Print & Media Conference Midwest will also feature lunch and introductions to esteemed Conference sponsors Foster Printing Service, Inc.; Japs-Olson Company; OSP; Unisource; Vision Integrated Graphics Group; and Xerox; non-stop networking with speakers, sponsors and peers; and a relaxing end-of-the-day cocktail party for more mingling and connection.

With a modest price of just $79 until March 15th ($99 after), PBI's Print & Media Conference Midwest is an incomparable value. "This is an incredibly well-rounded program at an incredibly affordable price," says Dana, who is widely acknowledged as the eyes, ears and voice of professionals who purchase print. "You could pay hundreds of dollars more to attend another program and still not receive the knowledge and ideas you'll get here. If you work or live near Chicago and you buy, design for, or market with print and other media, you won't want to miss this chance to learn from and interact with the people who are creating the future of print."

Online registration for the Print & Media Conference Midwest is happening now at http://www.printbuyersinternational.com/events/midwestconference.html by March 15th to enjoy a generous 20% discount on your registration. Questions? Contact Barbara Graham at [email protected] or at 978-490-0100.
