Livonia, Mich. and New York, - Valassis, one of the nation's leading media and marketing services companies,and News America Marketing, a division of News Corporation and the nation's premier provider of coupons, consumer promotions and advertising services, announced today a cross-publishing deal to expand the digital offers on Valassis' redplum.com and News America Marketing's SmartSource.com coupon and savings websites. The result is more robust digital coupon offerings on both sites.
This agreement will greatly expand the number of coupon offers available to today's deal-seeking consumers. According to the BIGResearch/Valassis eCoupon Survey (November 2010), nearly 60% of consumers are seeking coupons online each month.
