ECRM and Xpedx To End North American Distribution Agreement
Press release from the issuing company
January 15, 2004 -- In an effort to streamline product distribution throughout North America, ECRM Imaging Systems has chosen not to renew its distribution agreement with Xpedx.
Peter Wilkens, Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Marketing at ECRM, comments, "ECRM and Xpedx have enjoyed a long and prosperous relationship. However, our focus from this point forward will be on strengthening our distribution partnerships."
The decision not to renew the business relationship with Xpedx was based on a strategy to streamline distribution by focusing on partners with product lines more closely aligned with ECRM's range of imaging solutions.
ECRM distribution efforts in the US will now be focused on market and product alignments with Konica Minolta, Enovation, KPG and Pitman on a national level, as well as with strong regional dealers in the local markets.
