Leisa Thomason joins Strategy Development as an MPS consultant

Press release from the issuing company

Bryn Mawr, PA - Strategy Development, a management consulting and advanced training firm, welcomes the addition of Leisa Thomason to the team as an MPS Consultant.  Thomason, a longtime client of Strategy Development, has followed the Strategy Development methodologies and has experienced great success in transitioning her company, Genesis Technologies, to a become a true MPS provider.  Having valued the consulting experience so much, she joined the firm to help other entrepreneurs make the same lucrative transition into MPS.

Thomason started her first business while attending college by rebuilding toner cartridges in her garage.  Before long the company expanded to include printer repair, then eventually printer fleet management, which evolved into managed print services (MPS).

When Thomason’s company did not experience the growth she had planned, she engaged Strategy Development.  Genesis Technologies now manages over 23 million pages and has a thriving equipment business utilizing a balanced deployment approach to helping companies manage document flow and expense.  As the president of an MPS provider, Thomason has experienced the back office and sales transition from a transaction based company to a contractual based provider, focused on long-term management and improvement of document output fleets.

Thomason said, “It is exciting to be joining the industry’s leading MPS consultancy.” Adding, “I can attest to the effectiveness of the sales process taught by Strategy Development and to the value of engaging an experienced consulting firm to support a company’s MPS initiative, and I look forward to sharing the experience I gained with a wider audience of business professionals.”

As the great entrepreneur Victor Kiam famously professed in commercials for his Remington shaver, "I liked it so much, I bought the company!"  Leisa liked how well Strategy Development helped her company transition into MPS that she joined the team.

Tom Callinan, Managing Principal of Strategy Development said, “Leisa brings nearly twenty years of experience as a business owner and relevant and current experience transitioning her company to a full blown MPS model,” He went on to say, “Each of Strategy Development’s consultants are chosen for their real world experience, and Leisa is a strong addition to the team.”
