QuadTech introduces Proactive Care monitoring, diagnostics and support

Press release from the issuing company

Sussex, Wisconsin – QuadTech, Inc. is introducing a new level of support for its systems installed worldwide. "Proactive Care" is a diagnostic service that analyzes every alert, makes an educated diagnosis, alerts the press crew and determines the best solution before press performance is compromised. Unlike most remote diagnostic services, Proactive Care provides around-the-clock health and condition monitoring of QuadTech ICON systems by skilled technicians.

"We're not simply making a connection to your system and diagnosing issues after they happen," said Karl Fritchen, President of QuadTech. "Proactive Care employs technical staff who have a thorough knowledge of QuadTech products. They monitor alert messages sent from your equipment, and connect with your staff, day or night, every day of the year. We can alert you to problems before you're aware of them, and ultimately keep your presses running."

Proactive Care alerts pressroom staff to a wide variety of issues, to which QuadTech will offer solutions. Issues include battery life, hard disk life expectancy, press communication errors, cabinet temperature, and PC restarts. Rapid, accurate reaction times reduce equipment malfunctions, which can preempt expensive downtime.

According to Mr. Fritchen, "Because we understand printing, we know that system downtime can have a dramatic impact on your printing processes-even with something as simple as an expired battery or failing hard drive. Proactive Care can prevent the occurrence of almost all routine problems without a technician ever setting foot in your plant, saving the cost of a service visit. But, when a problem does require on-site service, fast response is available locally thanks to QuadTech's worldwide service presence."

QuadTech's "Proactive Care":  a new diagnostic service whereby skilled technicians provide around-the-clock health and condition monitoring of QuadTech ICON systems.
