Gröbenzell, Germany – PrintCity Alliance members Océ and manroland will be presenting their initiatives for digital and offset publishing markets at the Publishing Trends Summit with GIPP in Yekaterinburg on February 16, 2011. Attendees will benefit from the new industry leading strategic alliance between Océ and manroland, to offer future printing and publishing opportunities.
 
As manroland and Océ announced on December 1, 2010, the two companies are the first on the market to offer total digital printing solutions aimed at the graphic arts industry – all of these being solutions that will include consulting, systems, services and materials provided by a single source. The companies will supply solutions that cover all of the manufacturing steps within the graphic arts industry by combining print data management and digital and offset printing as well as post processing. The main beneficiaries of the cooperation will be printing operations: These can select optimum future-oriented technology and workflow solutions after being jointly advised by manroland and Océ.
 
Publishing Trends Summit – Programme

This one day Trends Summit focuses on the future of publishing magazines, newspapers & books. The event will cover new technologies, business models and co-operation across the complete value chain. In addition to the unique presentation programme, attendees are invited to participate in interactive discussions about the future of printing and publishing, including new digital and conventional printing opportunities.
 
The event is jointly organised with GIPP, the Russian Guild of Press Publishers and PrintCity Alliance members Cofely, manroland, Océ and UPM.
