Westmont, IL - As the inaugural move in an Enterprise Content Management (ECM) strategy, Svoboda Capital Partners has acquired Databank IMX, a leading imaging, document management, and information services provider. The transaction was supported by The Open Approach.
Having developed the model behind the venture, The Open Approach supported Svoboda Capital Partners in identifying and evaluating top-tier candidates to serve as the cornerstone for the investment. Databank IMX was selected based on its cutting-edge service offerings and geographic positioning. The Open Approach and Svoboda Capital Partners are seeking complementary companies for acquisition by Databank IMX that can benefit from synergies in vertical markets, customers, and competitive distinctions.
"We believe Databank will be a tremendous asset for this opportunity and Svoboda Capital Partners," said Ron Seavey, Managing Partner of The Open Approach. "Future development of the enterprise holds enormous potential. The Open Approach is dedicated to providing its private equity clients the support needed to build value throughout the lifecycle of their investment."
"The Open Approach shares our vision for judicious planning and accelerated growth strategies," commented Rick Harpster of Svoboda Capital Partners. "We look forward to a continued, beneficial partnership."
Both The Open Approach and Svoboda Capital Partners have achieved notable success in their investment ventures. The Open Approach has recently consummated major transactions in the labeling and digital document management industries on behalf of several private equity clients. Databank IMX marks the sixth acquisition in Svoboda Capital Partners' second fund.
