David E. Pitzen recently joined Direct Color Systems (DCS) as their Director of Sales, USA and Canada. Located in Rocky Hill, Connecticut, DCS is a leading manufacturer of direct to substrate small format printers. In announcing the appointment of Pitzen to the newly created position, Blair Allen, President of DCS said, "David's past experience in setting up technical sales specialists to work with a North American distribution and dealer network will be extremely valuable."

David Pitzen brings to DCS over thirty years of experience in the printing industry. He is the previous owner of Cortron Corporation, a graphic arts pre-press equipment and software manufacturer. Pitzen states, "Having been in graphic arts for my entire career, my goal has always been to provide innovative, high quality products for the graphic arts industry at the lowest possible cost, along with outstanding customer service and technical support.
