Press release from the issuing company

TAMPA, Fla.--Sept. 29, 2003-- Coinciding with Adobe's announcement of the new Adobe Photoshop CS, the National Association of Photoshop Professionals has just announced "The Photoshop CS Revolution," arguably the largest and most comprehensive Photoshop training initiative ever undertaken. The training blitz is a multi-faceted launch of expos, seminars, a Photoshop CS Resource Web site, and educational content designed to quickly get Photoshop users up to speed on the new features of Photoshop CS. PhotoshopWorld Conference & Expo Kicking off the initiative is NAPP's Fifth Annual PhotoshopWorld Conference & Expo (sponsored by Adobe). Billed as a "coming-out party" for the new software product, the event begins with a keynote presentation by Adobe Senior Vice President Bryan Lamkin who will give attendees the first in-depth look at Photoshop CS. The keynote is followed by the PhotoshopWorld Expo where Adobe will provide hands-on Photoshop CS training and distribute a bonus issue of Photoshop User magazine filled cover to cover with articles and tutorials on how to make the most of CS. Traditionally for conference attendees only, the expo will be open to the public on Wednesday, October 1. See http://www.photoshopworld.com for details. Photoshop CS Summit Next on the training circuit is the new Photoshop CS Summit, a six-city seminar tour sponsored by Adobe. Led by nationally-known trainers Scott Kelby and Dave Cross, the Summit provides an evening of free training in Photoshop special effects and photo retouching using Photoshop CS. The Photoshop CS Summit is coordinated by the NAPP and will be coming to San Francisco, L.A., Atlanta, New York, Chicago, and Dallas. Dates and times are listed at http://www.photoshopsummit.com. Photoshop CS Resource Center NAPP's Photoshop CS Resource Center is a comprehensive Web site that examines the features of the newly-released Adobe Photoshop CS. The Resource Center tackles the pros and cons of the software program with an article by NAPP President and Editor-in-Chief of Photoshop User magazine Scott Kelby. Screen captures, tutorials, and video clips give visitors an in-depth look at the software. Visit the Resource Center at http://www.photoshopuser.com/photoshopcs.html. Books and Videos Kelby, who is also a critically-acclaimed best-selling author, is using the event to release his latest book Photoshop CS Down & Dirty Tricks and several new training DVDs. Commenting on the enormity of these efforts, Kelby said: "As the National Association of Photoshop Professionals, it's our job to keep over 30,000 members on the cutting edge of the latest Photoshop education, training, and news. We're also both thrilled and truly honored that Adobe chose PhotoshopWorld to give the Photoshop community its first in-depth look at Photoshop CS."
