Zaandam / Hamburg – PUBBLES, the German platform for the distribution of digital newspapers, magazines and books, and WoodWing, a leading international supplier of cross-media publishing systems and an innovative leader in the tablet publishing market, have completed the integration of the viewer of WoodWing's Digital Magazine Solution in the updated PUBBLES App 1.2.

Fast and easy distribution of digital publications for tablets
The partnership aims to enable all publishers creating the tablet editions of their media brands with WoodWing's Digital Magazine Tools to distribute their digital publications quickly and easily via PUBBLES. Without any technical changes, the digital publications created with WoodWing's solution can be purchased and viewed directly through PUBBLES.

stern eMagazine available on PUBBLES
The first WoodWing-based tablet edition of a media brand on PUBBLES is the eMagazine of the renowned German weekly magazine stern.

Until now, WoodWing customers around the world – some of the best-known magazine and newspaper publishers, as well as corporate publishers – created approximately 80 apps and produced more than 700 digital publications for the iPad using WoodWing's Digital Magazine Tools. In addition to stern, other renowned German titles include Europe's largest car magazine AUTO BILD and Frankfurter Rundschau, one of the leading daily newspapers in Germany.
