INX reaps digital benefits interest at Graph Expo

Press release from the issuing company

Schaumburg, IL – INX International Ink Co. helped prepare customers take the next step in evolving to digital printing at Graph Expo in Chicago.  Show visitors liked what they saw in the INX booth at the October 3-6 show, displaying significant interest in the company's EVOLVE Advanced Digital Solutions and its educational seminars.

"We were expecting a good reception at Graph Expo and the show exceeded our expectations," said Rick Clendenning, INX President and CEO.  "Printers and package converters alike showed a strong interest in our CP100 UV digital cylindrical printer and the MD1000 UV flatbed printer, and we wound up taking away plenty of solid sales leads.  Leading up to the show we had a good indication there were printers attending who were ready to move into digital printing.  That's why we put together a series of educational seminars in our booth that were well attended.  Not only did we get to answer many good questions, but we also received lots of feedback about our new products."

The CP100 printer is the mainstay of EVOLVE Advanced Digital Solutions.  A patented technology available only through INX, it is designed for short-run cylindrical printing and packaging work.  At Graph Expo, the CP100 was demonstrated and produced brilliant colored aluminum cans and water bottles in minutes.  An extremely cost effective printer, it is available for delivery starting in November.

One of the educational seminars explained more about the EVOLVE Advanced Digital Solutions line.  Three presentations daily were offered on the first three days of the show, and they attracted good-sized crowds since they were geared to printers who are not involved with digital printing.  Other areas of concentration that were covered included advanced ink systems and device calibration using GRACoL G7 methods.

The MD1000 UV flatbed printer and several environmentally friendly inks were also introduced at Graph Expo.  A new generation extension of the MD660 printer, the MD1000 quickly and inexpensively delivers real-metal sample proofs in minutes for the short-run production of decorative tins, general line containers and aerosols.  The EVOLVE brand for the digital printers in the booth included energy curable and UV LED inks, and traditional inks included INXCure UV Web, INXFlex UV Flexo, and the INXCure LED series.  Other inks featured were the best-in-class energy curable product line - Fusion hybrid inks, INXCure FTP EB inks and world class Low Migration inks - and specialty inks and coatings.
