NEW YORK--Sept. 24, 2003-- NewspaperDirect, a technology company specializing in the global delivery and local printing of same-day editions of newspapers from around the world, in partnership with Menzies Distribution, will expand and enhance its service offering in the UK. The launch will be in London on 22 September 2003, with expansion into Scotland over the next several months.
Menzies is a leading UK wholesaler and distributor of news and associated products handling over 50 million newspapers and magazines every week. This new initiative will be added to Menzies' portfolio of award winning services through Jones Yarrell & Co Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary specializing in direct-to-user product distribution.

Titles ranging from Los Angeles Times (USA) to Shanghai Daily News (China), and Aftenposten (Norway) to Manila Times (Philippines), can now be laser printed locally in the convenient A3 format.
