Excitement builds for INX International at Graph Expo

Press release from the issuing company

Schaumburg, IL – Building off the response to several technology preview demonstrations a year ago at Print '09, INX International Ink Co. and INX Digital International (booth #2512) will take the next step in evolving to digital printing when Graph Expo opens its doors this Sunday in Chicago.  INX will feature EVOLVE Advanced Digital Solutions as well as new inks, equipment and educational seminars during the four-day, October 3-6 show at McCormick Place.

"We are anticipating a terrific show at Graph Expo.  I think there are printers who are ready to move forward into digital printing," said Rick Clendenning, INX President and CEO.  "Last year at Print '09, we introduced a few new technologies that generated substantial interest and feedback.  In the last 12 months, we have enhanced our knowledge and taken those efforts to the next level.  Combined with several new aspects that include our seminar program, we have what I believe printers are looking for to expand their business."

Clendenning's vision on the value of digital printing will be communicated in part through a series of educational seminars.  Three presentations daily will be offered at 11, 1:30 and 3 on the first three days of the show.  Ranging from advanced ink systems and device calibration including GRACoL G7 methods, to an explanation of EVOLVE Advanced Digital Solutions, show visitors can register to attend any seminar at www.inxinternational.com/ge10.  These sessions are geared to printers not involved with digital printing, will last about 15 minutes and include off-line demonstrations.

A prototype of the CP100 UV digital can printer first exhibited at Print '09, now headlines the EVOLVE Advanced Digital Solutions line.  The CP100 is a key part of integrated systems technology platforms developed by INX Digital to provide customer-driven solutions for inkjet printing, production workflows and material handling.  A patented technology available only through INX, it is designed for short-run cylindrical printing and packaging work and produces vivid printed items such as aluminum cans and water bottles in minutes. The CP100 is highly cost effective and available for delivery later in the fourth quarter.

Another new product consideration for commercial and package printers is the MD1000 UV flatbed printer.  A new generation extension of the MD660 printer, it quickly and inexpensively delivers real-metal sample proofs in minutes for the short-run production of decorative tins, general line containers and aerosols.  Not only available to metal decorators, the MD1000 offers quality in excess of 1200 dpi at 150 to 220 feet per hour on a wide variety of rigid and flexible media including plastic, corrugate and carton.

INX will display several environmentally friendly designed inks at Graph Expo.  The EVOLVE brand for the digital printers in the booth will include energy curable and UV LED inks.  Traditional inks to be showcased include INXCure UV Web, INXFlex UV Flexo, and the INXCure LED series.  As a leading industry innovator, the company's sheetfed LED series is proven to offer superior print quality and cure response under the most demanding conditions.  The INX Research & Development team expects the demand for energy curable specialty inks to continue since UV/EB products increase productivity and offer improved physical properties while reducing costs and meeting environmental compliance.

Sheetfed process system inks EcoTech and EcoPure will enhance any printer's Sustainability roster.  The EcoTech inks not only conform to ISO 2846-1 standards, but are suitable to GRACoL G7 certification.  Other inks that will be featured include the best-in-class energy curable product line - Fusion hybrid inks, INXCure FTP EB inks and world class Low Migration inks - and specialty inks and coatings.
