September 18, 2003 -- Quad/Graphics will continue to print and distribute catalogs and newspaper inserts for Saks Department Store Group (SDSG), a division of Saks Incorporated, thanks to a recently signed contract renewal. SDSG operates department stores under the names of Parisian, Proffitt’s, McRae’s, Younkers, Herberger’s, Carson Pirie Scott, Bergner’s and Boston Store. SDSG opted to remain with Quad — its printer for the past eight years — due to the favorable combination of our quality printing services and paper purchasing ability, says Sales Manager Andrea St. Thomas. “They understand what Quad/Graphics brings to the table. We are located very close to them, and we’ve developed a very strong partnership. We learn from them and they learn from us.
