Punch abandons plans to take over Esko-Graphics Digital Printing Unit
Press release from the issuing company
September 17, 2003 - Punch International has decided not to pursue the acquisition of the Esko-Graphics Digital Printing Products activities. This decision follows the conclusion of an elaborate due diligence.
An in-depth due diligence inquiry has led to the conclusion that it is uncertain that these activities could be rendered profitable in the short term. Guido Dumarey, CEO, declares that Xeikon International, a Punch International subsidiary, will continue to invest in the independent development of its own front-end activities.
