CSU LLC to Distribute Datalogics DL Formatter Software
Press release from the issuing company
CHICAGO--Sept. 16, 2003-- Datalogics Incorporated, a well-known provider of innovative software solutions for the publishing industry, announces its distribution agreement with CSU LLC. CSU LLC, the largest Independent Service Organization (ISO) in the United States servicing Xerox and Oce high-speed imaging equipment, will now supply Datalogics DL Formatter DL-100 and DL-1000 products for Mac and PC. The DL Formatter product-line provides a comprehensive, cross-platform solution to the often con-fusing workflow involved in variable data.
DL Formatter is an advanced, yet easy-to-use variable data application, which offers firms an exceptional means for creating 1-to-1, personalized communications. "Variable Data Printing is a complicated business to be in. Many customers look to CSU to be leaders in assisting them in getting started," stated Roger Eddy, National Business Analyst of CSU. "Datalogics DL Formatter provides a simple to use, yet very powerful method for producing high quality Variable Data Output for both black & white and color. It does this without the need to be a programmer to achieve professional results. Additionally, the ability to choose either the PC or MAC platform gives the customer the flexibility to work in the environment where they feel most comfortable. An added benefit is the wide range of output formats supported and optimized for each RIP, providing a solution for almost any requirement," continued Eddy.
CSU LLC (www.csu-llc.om) will sell and support the DL Formatter product line along with their already impressive best in class software solutions. As the industry embraces digital technology, it is undergoing a huge transformation with the convergence of the printer and copier industries. Until recently CSU's customers focused on "speeds and feeds," today they are demanding "value" from the equipment they acquire. Since CSU does not manufacture products, they bring in value added. CSU provides consultative training to companies without digital strategy in place who are looking for someone to partner with. Datalogics highlights this value added dimension of CSU's overall service to the customer by providing a simple to use, yet very powerful solution for variable data workflow. CSU LLC will sell and support the DL Formatter product line along with their already impressive best in class software solutions.
"Datalogics is excited to be partnering with CSU to distribute the DL Formatter solution to the variable print market," said James W. McNeill, President of Datalogics. "The partnership was a perfect solution because Datalogics aligns itself with those who understand the print market as well as the variable data market. Datalogics is pleased to have a reseller who will effectively sell and support the DL Formatter solution for customers who want to create award-winning variable applications," continued McNeill.
