SWOP Specifications state that: “the appearance of an off-press proof must closely simulate a SWOP press proof”. By gaining SWOP certification the ColorBurst Proofing System has become one of the few low cost Inkjet systems to be approved for off-press inkjet proofs. All ColorBurst products include pre-configured settings and linearization features that ensure customers can produce SWOP certified off-press proofs on their Epson 7600/9600 printers right out of the box.
Included features will allow the ColorBurst Proofing System to easily connect to Windows, Apple Macintosh OS 9, and Apple Macintosh OS X. The ColorBurst Proofing System will automatically nest jobs to maximize paper usage, match industry standard spot colors, and has the ability to be calibrated (re-linearized) to ensure that SWOP proofs generated with the ColorBurst Proofing Systems are consistent from job site to job site anywhere in the world.
